The short, honest version.

Your files are processed on our servers. They travel over HTTPS and are used only to run the tool you asked for. Every job, uploads and results alike, is deleted automatically about an hour after you start it. A cleanup sweep runs every ten minutes and removes expired jobs whether they succeeded or failed. A video waiting in the transcription queue is kept only until it runs; abandoned queued work is removed automatically within 12 hours.

Video transcription is self-hosted. We extract a compressed audio track and process it with faster-whisper on our own transcription worker. The video, audio, selected language, optional terms, and transcript stay on TryDeputize infrastructure and follow the same automatic deletion schedule.

Never sold, never trained on. We do not sell your files or results or use them to train models.

No accounts means we don’t hold names, emails, or passwords. To keep the tools free for everyone, requests are counted per IP address for a rolling minute (rate limiting).

How we measure visits. Two third-party services run on every page here. Google Analytics counts visits and which pages they land on. Microsoft Clarity records how a page was used, including clicks, scrolling and a replay of the page as you used it, so we can see where a layout confuses people. Neither one ever receives a file you upload: files go only to our own processing described above, and no third party touches them.

Being exact about the replay, because it is the part worth understanding: it reconstructs what the page looked like. Text you type into a form field is masked by default and does not reach it. We have also explicitly masked the places where a tool prints something sensitive back onto the page, which the default does not cover: the generated password, the JSON formatter's output, and the PDF password boxes when you click to reveal them. If ads arrive one day, they’ll be clearly marked.

In short: upload, process on our infrastructure, download, deleted. If how TryDeputize handles files ever changes, this page changes first.
