How to rotate a PDF and save it
Add the PDF
One file, up to 50 MB. Every page appears as a thumbnail, all selected to begin with.
Choose which pages to turn
Tap any page to drop it from the selection, or use all to reset. Sideways scans are often only a few pages, not the whole file.
Pick the rotation
90 degrees right is a quarter turn clockwise, 90 degrees left goes the other way, and 180 flips an upside-down page.
Press Rotate
The button names the number of pages it will turn. The rotation is saved into the file, so it stays that way in every reader, which is the difference between this and turning the view in Preview or Acrobat.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my PDF turn sideways again after I rotate it?
Most viewers only rotate the view, not the file. This tool writes the rotation into the PDF itself, so it opens the right way up everywhere, for everyone.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Tap the pages in the preview grid and only those are turned; the rest keep the orientation they already have. Leave the selection empty to rotate every page.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Rotation updates each page's orientation setting; nothing is re-rendered or recompressed.
What happens to my file?
Sent over HTTPS, used only for the rotation, and deleted from our server automatically about an hour later.
