How to merge PDF files
Add the PDFs
Drop them onto the page, or click to browse. Up to 20 files, 50 MB each and 200 MB in one go. A combined preview appears immediately, showing the pages in the order they will end up.
Put them in the right order
The merge order list is draggable: pull a row up or down and the preview follows. This is the step people skip and then redo, so check the preview rather than the filenames.
Add any you forgot
Add more PDFs takes another file onto the end without losing what you have arranged. Clear all starts again.
Press Merge
The button counts what it is about to do, so it reads Merge 3 PDFs rather than just Merge. One combined file comes back, with the pages copied across exactly as they were, never re-rendered or recompressed.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
Up to 20 files in one go, each up to 50 MB, and 200 MB in total. If you have more, merge in batches: the result of one merge can be an input to the next, as long as that result is itself under 50 MB.
Will the merged PDF have a watermark?
No. No watermarks, no signup, and nothing to pay. The merged file is yours, clean.
Does merging change the quality of my PDFs?
No. Pages are copied into the combined file exactly as they are, never re-rendered or recompressed.
What happens to my files after merging?
