No. A watermark is a mark on the page, not a lock. Anyone with a PDF editor, including ours, can remove it. Use it to label a document as a draft or a copy, and use a password if you need to control who opens it at all.
Yes. Type ranges like 1-3, 7, 12- in the pages field. Leaving it blank stamps every page, up to 500 a job.
It sits on top, so at full opacity it would. The default is faint and diagonal, which is why the classic tiled watermark stays readable over body text. Lower the opacity if your pages are dense.
Yes. Switch to the image watermark and upload a PNG or JPG up to 20 MB. A PNG with a transparent background works best, and you can set how wide it sits on the page.
